I make a lot of cas4 with VVDI, i think it's the best tool to read cas4. And is cheaper,around 450usd. If you read backup before, then you make anything you want

where to purchase it?
- VVdi prog is good programmer for CAS4 but many times it will Not Crack the chip for reading without removing 4 components. If you want write dump which need unlock the
chip - you will have to do it.
- Dashcoder - very quick and easy but every 6 CAS4 dead...
- Xprog - wast the time.
- Upa - wast the time
- Xep100prog - ori from Italy which has been cloned by some companies already- for me the best programmer for CAS4 and BMW. Automatically backup and calculatate make job very quick and error free. You can edit VIN or Mileage
For easy editing ISN, VIN or Mileage VVDI2 is good now.
No matter how many programmers You will never win :)
