Hello all...

I have started doing MSX8X cloning jobs recently and I am just now faced with this "Incorrect Data Record" issue. I know that I need to change the power class in DME in order to match it with the one in CAS. I have swapped EEPROMs for some of them. However, I would like to know which lines in EEPROM dump (See the pic below) do I need to change or edit in order to reset working hours and make the working hours less than 10 hours? Any help is appreciated.. I need this for my future works for sure...

Thanks!

This EEPROM dump is from an MSD80 and I read this EEPROM for my test purposes. I know that the process is the same for all MSX8X DMEs I believe.

Hi, I am also trying to do MSD81.2 cloning.
With using tricore password, I successfully read eeprom dump from original ECU and
also successfuly write the dump to secondhand one.

Now secondhand ECU can start engine, but errors appear.
And mileage indicated with errors are secondhand's one.

(Original ECU mileage is 55000km
Secondhand ECU has 70000km)

If I change working hour to less than 10 hours, I can programm secondhand ECU as a new?
I would be appreciated if someone guided me how to clone MSD81.2.

after matching isn or eeprom you must do codding for used DME from indiv coding.

You need to take off the EEPROM and zero the working hours. Then you need to default code the DME and it will automatically match the power class with CAS.
