Hi,

Please I need assistance regarding writing DME ISN TO Cas 3 + on bench.

I connected all wires on bench correctly. I have DME ISN from MSD80. I just want to write it to CAS.

I successfully connected to CAS but when I Go to Read/Write CAS ISN, it tells me to switch on ignition. I ignored this thinking it would let me but apparently I was unable to do the job because ignition needs to be on.

Please advise on how I can resolve this.

Thanks

Alex

Hi

On the DME, you need to connect a 12V power supply to both no1 connector, the big and small number 1 DME pins.

One is ignition and the other is the power supply.

Thanks

Hi Justin,

Thanks for responding to me on the forum.

I connected 12V to both (2 connectors) the big no1 and small no1 but when I try it, it still asks me to switch ignition on. I clicked OK. Then it's says " No working key in ignition Slot. Please insert working key and switch ignition on

Please clearly guide me or is there something I'm doing wrong?

Hi

i'll try and get the DME pin outs for you tomorrow. I am sure that the MSV80 and MSD80 are very similar, so it should work with the same pins as i used on the MSV80 DME.

I also got the message to switch the ignition on, but i clicked 'ok' and the process continued.

Thanks

You need a key slot along with your dme and cas
As I said before, you cannot avoid the working key ( or the dme isn... one of them) when cas is encrypted.
