Hi,

E90,
programmed new key, everything went fine
the new key clicks in slot, but can not see "In Slot" status in AH
neither can turn on ignition

(original key of car works fine, clicks and status can be seen and turns on ignition, so its not key slot)

any ideas?

I've had this happen maybe 3 times out of 40 keys that i've programmed. I have always put it down to a faulty key perhaps, because when i try another key, it works fine.

Maybe just something to consider, or maybe someone else knows.....
