Hi i have E60 523 with msv70 5WK98084 7 561 684 siemens index 03 the ecu is dead. I have a replacement from Bmw used scrapyard but not sure if it is same type of engine part no. msv 70 5WK98081 7 559 178 siemens index 03. i read isn and write then read to confirm writing of isn and it was successful. Car does not start i try to update but it says must replace with 7581224 current bmw nr. 7577968 assem nr. 7581328 is it possible to make special file for this dme to suit this car E60 523.

MSV70 must run by anyway, did you check fault codes in DME?
For flashing, it is not the issue here.
But if you insist to flash it, we can let you pass this restriction,
But it will under your risk...
The DME may will be flashed correctly, but if HW is different from what is supposed to be, you may get fault codes that will never be erased.
Contact support if you want to go forward.

Thank you for your reply i will open dme tomorrow and confirm hardware then i will post result.

I must say this, every instance i try this tool it works and the backup support is one of the best i have come accross...thanks guys keep up the good work! Its a pleasure working with your product.

Hi i open the DME the hardware is identical can you send me link for support to remove update restriction then i will post result thanks again

Hi all the dme was flashed successfully...vin changed and new software no. Problem is dme is faulty so cannot start.

Support was excellent and very efficiant via teamviewer.
