Hi guys

Has anyone ever used an MSD80 from an N54 turbo charged engine, on a N53 naturally aspirated engine? Both engine use the MSD80/81 DMEs, so has anyone successfully done this? Is it a case of just copying the eeprom or can this not be done?

If you use the N54 ecu on a N53 car, the car will start, but you have errors and i think the DME is looking for turbos, so maybe there is a way around this????

Just for testing purposes...yes. But not on actual customer car.
