I have a 2006 330i here with a bad circuit for crank sensor.

I have a replacement msv70, however I think autohex is not connecting to this car. I noticed that most 2006-2007 E90 do not connect with autohex. Is this true or am I doing something wrong?

I have used AH2 to replace DME before on other BMW's so I am aware of the process but I wonder why it never gets vehicle order from the early e90's ?

I know the difference in kline and dcan, but is that enough to render AH2 useless on the those particular cars ?

Thank you for the advice.

Hi,
we support all E90 without any issue, you can read isn from used dme and write to cas then do indiv coding for dme to match vin.all this can be done obd.if your device is not connecting to the car then probably it has some issue in it .so i recommend you to contact tech team on skype(microtronik@outlook.com) and arrange one E90 for them to check teamviewer so they can diagnose your issue.
best regards

Okay lets do that, I'll add on skype and go from there. This has been an issue ever since having the autohex. I have done the updates as well. It's usually a think for 2006-2007 E90's. They never connect / get vehicle order. When trying to read faults / quick test, the list / window on the right is always blank. Nothing to see there.

Thanks

So i just decided to check if there was any updates, there was a lot. That was surprising to me but I dont check all the time, I must of missed some. I updated the program and firmware (it was all automatic of course) and restarted the computer with high hopes of finally connecting to 2006-07 E90.

Unfortunately even after update, I cannot connect. I have one 06 330xi and another 06 i believe 325 and i cannot connect to either. I can connect to any 08+ without issue.
