hi.

I got issue with 2006 E60
It show head unit not programmed correctly in center display. seems to have error in hardware ???

Anyone have an idea ?

I can't post picture .. I guess I don't have that authorization

so... in programming window.. on right side of MASK gateway it says : Hardware ref error
and if I try to program that same ecu it give me error ref: 8342

For e60 head unit needs most communication, autohex don't have most communication there is risk in programming the unit, if you get error autohex cannot do it

Try with ISTA-P and Icom.

Yes, Support is correct, use ISTA-P, ICOM and MOST adapter and it should program fine.

Do you have WinKFP? You can use that to program the module. But first you need to make sure the hardware is compatible for the E60.
