Hi
I have a F30 all keys lost I am trying to read isn from the dme EDC17c50
I can see the voltage on the system but when i try and read i get a message low power from autohex II 12V jack

This message may present in following cases
The connected power supply is not good enough ( low amp)
There is a short among the wires of tricore cable
Wring connection to the ECU
Faulty ECU ( internal short)

I am not getting voltage at the red wire with the big clip of the tricore connector

is it possible to buy another tricore cable this one does not seem to be working it is the first time I have used it
I managed to read it using magic flex and sent them the read they sent me the isn

Red wire will have 12v only when the tool processing the read/write operations
You should check voltage while it is trying to communicate

change your power supply and use normal 12V 2A AC/DC adapter it will work.

@ Amp adapter solved this problem for me.
