Hello everyone ,
first , I'm not familiar with ECU programming ( i'm a locksmith ) .
i have Mini-Cooper 2012 petrol 1.6 with ECU burned , ECU MEV17.2 ( Bosch 0261S07211)
so , what is the best way to adapt used ECU on the bench if possible because the car is far .

hi,
You can read ISN from donor ECU and write to CAS then do coding for DME to adapt VIN from CAS using autohex tool. If you got more questions please feel free to contact support.
