Greetings!

We just purchased the full package, and are excited to try it out. We have a number of donor DMEs on hand that we would like to virginize. Will the tool do this without having a new host vehicle, or will we need to find virgin dump files for each module?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Kyle

Autohex does not offer to virginize a DME. Instead it allows you to read / write the DME & CAS ISNs so that you can match the computers with each other. Once you do that, you can perform coding / programming to change the VIN.

You can use BMW real oem website to check part number compatibility. The replacement DME or CAS (in most all cases) must have a compatible part number when compared to the original part. One exception would be upgrading from a MSD80 to MSD81 (as an example).

Hope this helps.
