Hello,

I am working on a 2011 328i xdrive and I swapped CAS3 from a 2011 X5. I performed these steps:

- saved key file from original cas and loaded on donor cas
- restored FA from FRM to donor CAS
- changed VIN
- changed power class in Hexprog from "none" to "level 1" on donor CAS to match DME.

The car starts and everything, but I have a fault in the DSC "5f60: DSC control unit, incorrect part number (Active front steering)". When I plug in the original cas there is no fault. I've tried re-coding dsc, cas, and others but the fault does not go away. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Issue sorted out, for those reading in the future, I could have sworn I coded the donor CAS after loading the FA, but maybe I didn't. Anyways, in Indiv Coding for CAS under Advanced, I went to the coding parameters and noticed it still had coding parameters for the 2011 X5. So I re-coded the CAS again and this time all the parameters were for an e92. The fault went away.
