Hi,

Would it be possible to post video on youtube where AutoHex 2 Software works with dump files (that are read by BDM)

something like, how to load DME dump to read/write ISN and then save file,
also, if I'm not mistaken to work with CAS4,CAS4+ we need EEPROM dump read by BDM, after that we can import it in AutoHex2 software to work with it, how to do it?

thanks!

(1).. It does not work with dump files.
(2) .. You press read ISN (from CAS or DME) by OBD or wired up on the bench and it does just that .
(3).. You save the Number .. not the file so there is nothing to see.
(4) ...Its all done by magic 🙂

Hi,

thanks for reply, but in email, on question:

"Can I work on the dump file with autohex2 software?
Example: someone will read dump with BDM tool, send me file, and then I work on this file with Auto Hex 2 software and send back."

They Replied:
"Yes this is possible.
Regards"

Thats why I wanted to see example as in other videos there is no sign for importing dump file

It is possible indirectly, for example:
You can use the received CAS EEPROM DUMP to write in any other CAS, you do the required jobs (changing VIN, writing a key, change ISN,...) then you can read it back.
The DUMP files usually is a job for BDM tools, Autohex II is different in concept, but you will always find a work around if you own Autohex II.
