Hi guys,
I have programmed a genuine used key for a BMW F10 and the car will not start unless you hold the key close to steering column. Remote is working fine, just the car will not start. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you unlock the key using the latest version of Hextag? They recently fixed the firmware.

Yes, the key has been reseted with Hextag latest version. I will try another key next week and see how it goes.

I had an F10 that wouldn't work with comfort access or remote, though ISTA test confirmed the car could detect a signal from the key. Flashing the CAS with ISTA resolved it.

Do you have a key tester to confirm key is emitting a 315mhz (or regional frequency) signal?
