Hi
Is it possible with Hextag?
I need change milage on 160D0WT.
I buy new eeprom and I read orginal dump, next change milage and write to new eeprom. Reset in FEM module.
Milage is new value on FEM and Kombi but I have Red Dot.
The car is F34 2013. Cluster is 6WA and eeprom 160D0WT.

To blank mileage and VIN in an existing EEPROM, and use the Kombi afterwards, here are
the steps using an Programmer:

1. Modify the VIN
o Replace byte 70 0F (1 pair) with "FF" (long VIN)
o Replace all bytes from 80 00 to 80 0F (the whole line) with "FF" (long VIN)
o Replace bytes 590 0E and 590 0F (2 pairs) with "FF" (short VIN)
o Replace bytes 5A0 00 to 5A0 04 (5 pairs) with "FF" (short VIN)

But I just want to change the mileage. I copied the whole original eeprom and entered the whole thing into a new eeprom. I did it so that the power returns to the original if something goes wrong. In Hextag there is a change option for 160D0WQ. Can I safely change my original eeprom? My is 160D0WT

Your original eeprom D0WT Has unique Identifier .... that's why your tamper dot (red) is illuminated mate

I just read about this IC but everyone wrote that this only applies to cars after 2015. Am I able to change my original eeprom using Hextag? I also have VVDIprog. There is only 160D0WQ in the Hextag menu

Changing the mileage is not the problem .... its changing the eeprom .... (if it is the type with unique ID )..

Can I change my original eeprom and there will be no Red Dot? Only mileage. Hextag will do the trick? Use option 160D0WQ?

However, everything has been changed to the original memory. I used VVDIprog.
