I ve a question and hope to find answer.as known,the power class in DMEs needs working hrs resetting to be changed but how to modify it in a donor BDC/FEM/casxx.i ve experienced in cas3, the power class wouldnt be be changed even when vin and vo are written in for a certain case, unless reading eeprom and modify it handly.as expected, this situation will be the same as in BDC/FEM/CAS4.i am not sure about my expectation,could anybody explain

Well, you reset working hours and re code DME.

if i reset the working hrs then,the dme will coded for fem power class which is upper and dme is top(mpower)that will lead to power downgrade.

So, you want to match the FEM to the DME or more precisely to the car? Did you try the unlock / clone procedure? That should take care of this, no?

exactly,cloning not on hand although its the best solution,rather unlocking has already done as vin,isn,km and fa and flashing/coding,but power class in fem is still persisting to be changed"upper class".i can trace the power class hex in the fem but unfortunatly i cant read emulated data-flash out of spc5668 jtag processor.

So you did cloning but the power class did not transfer? This does not make sense.

cloning what i know is reading program and data flash and write them in another fem,cas or DME or whatever.i just did unlock, it doesnt mean cloning,unlocking authorizes you to read and write certain parameters as vin,isn,km even hrs resetting so what doesn't make sense

Fem/BDC cloning if you have key for original fem and used one without key
1 .unlock original fem with key
2 .unlock and reset mileage on used fem with option 3
3 .connect original and save fa from original
4 .go to cas replacement and proceed
5 .after cloning complete load original fa to used fem
6 .go out of coding/programming and come inside again and program used fem
7 .finish

ok you re right,just one hex needed to be changed and all ok.fem and bdc need jtag programmer to read and write then time for playing
