We are pleased to announce the release of Hexprog II Software Version 1.0.132, featuring expanded coverage for Ford powertrain systems designed to enhance your Ecu Tuning capabilities.

With this update, the Continental SID212 and SID212 EVO Ecus behind Ford's EcoBlue and TDCi diesel range — can now be read and written directly through the diagnostic port, no opening the ECU, no bench wiring, and no removing it from the vehicle.

New Supported ECUs

This update introduces full OBD Ecu Tuning and programming support for the following Ford Engine Control Units:

• Continental SID212
• Continental SID212 EVO

The workflow is identical across every model and displacement the family controls, so a single procedure covers the entire Ford lineup from the Transit and Tourneo to the Focus, Kuga, Mondeo and others.

Workflow Enhancement: OBD Read & Write of the MAP Area

Hexprog II now handles the SID212 / SID212 EVO over OBD with the same reliability, speed and safety our tuners expect from Bench Mode.

A full read completes in roughly 2 minutes, while a write takes about 3 minutes

The update also brings a fully automatic, one-time unlock. When a never-unlocked ECU is detected, Hexprog II recognizes it and runs the unlock handshake on its own (1–3 minutes depending on variant), touching no flash and patching nothing.

In addition, the protocol is hardened against the "programming mode" state: the tool detects it, blocks unreliable reads, and guides you to write the original file first to return the ECU to App Mode — with Read Virtual File available as a fallback to recover the original MAP area when no backup is on hand.
