- Boot Mode (Deep Access & Recovery): Your ultimate fallback for unresponsive or heavily protected ECUs. By opening the cover and connecting a boot pin, you gain the low-level access needed to recover, repair, or clone even the most stubborn modules.
- VFI Glitch Mode (Locked Ecus): Unlocks modern MDG1 ECUs. Hexprog II detects the state automatically: locked, unlocked, or no lock required. There's no variant to identify and nothing to select.
BMW ISN reading
Hexprog II incorporates a crucial feature derived from Autohex II: ISN management. Building upon the success of its predecessor, Hexprog II embraces this essential functionality, elevating its capabilities to new heights.
One of the standout features of Hexprog II is its ability to read the complete long ISN (Individual Serial Number) from any BMW Ecu. This includes even the most recent Bosch MG1/MD1 Ecus, spanning from 2005 to the present day DME/DDE models.
