hello two questions can hex tag clone cas units and program new keys or you must have autohexx software also.

yes hextag can clone cas just transfer eeprom and flash.when you clone original keys will work on used cas because key data stored in eeprom

one more thing in live bench reading an external power supply needed in wich pins must connect tthe suplier's cables and how a adjust the current and voltage?

Yes you need to use 12V 3A power supply for doing works in hextag and connection diagram is available in software itseld.we recommend to use an AC/DC power adapter good quality one.

of course, i use 12v 3A adapter all the time i solder the wires as the diagram shows but i get an ( you need an external power supply)message when it comes to read the cas.maybe i must solder better the pins?
