The fuel pump control electronics are not a control unit.

The development code for the component is as follows: FPC = Fuel Pump Control.

Do not confuse the fuel pump control electronics with the control unit of the electronic fuel pump control module (EKPS).

Maybe EKP A98a it is relay , not microcontroler i/o unit with diagnosis, see diagram
