On-Bench Chip Tuning & ECU Cloning
Read and write P-Flash, D-Flash, external flash and external EEPROM — with automatic checksum correction doing the tedious part for you. Two access methods cover every case:
- Bench mode — no need to open the ECU cover. Connect power and the signal wires, and you're working.
- Boot mode — for a dead ECU. Open the cover and attach the boot wire to the board; this is what gets a non-responsive ECU back.
OBD Chip Tuning & ECU Repair
Read and write the map area of a wide range of ECUs, including virtual read. Beyond programming, HexProg II handles VIN changing, coding backup/restore and fault-code read/erase.
Built on Microtronik's years of ECU flashing and coding experience, HexProg II is engineered to be one of the safest OBD programming tools available.
BMW ISN Reading
ISN management — proven in Autohex II — is built into HexProg II.
Read the complete long ISN from any BMW ECU, including the latest Bosch MG1/MD1 units, covering 2005 to present DME/DDE models.

HexProg is the broader multi-function tool: immobiliser modules (CAS, BCM), key reset and EEPROM reset. Note it does not cover every ECU/TCU connection type — no DAP, NBD or certain JTAG variants.
